Nashville General Hospital’s Radiologic Technology program has once again demonstrated its commitment to excellence by receiving the highest level of accreditation from the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). Following a thorough evaluation in March 2024, the JRCERT awarded the program an eight-year accreditation—marking the second consecutive time the program has achieved this prestigious recognition since 2016.

The JRCERT, the only agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation in Radiologic Sciences, conducted an in-depth site visit to assess the program. During their review, guided by the Standards for an Accredited Educational Program in Radiography (2021), the NGH Radiologic Technology program met all standards, reinforcing its status as a leader in radiologic education. This eight-year accreditation reflects the program’s commitment to high-quality professional education and dedication to preparing skilled, compassionate healthcare professionals.
