Being Exceptional Every Day: Honoring BEE Award Winner
"Robin makes an incredible impact on our unit every day. She consistently goes above and beyond to keep our space not only clean but truly cared for. Her attention to detail never goes unnoticed, and she takes pride in creating an environment that feels safe, comforting, and welcoming to both patients and staff. What truly sets Robin apart is her heart. She learns about our patients and their needs, stops to look at family pictures, and treats every room like it matters. On hard days, she's the one offering a hug, a smile, or a moment of kindness when it is needed most. We in the ICU are so lucky to work alongside her, and she is more than deserving of this recognition."
Robin's colleagues describe a noticeable difference in the ICU when she is on the unit. She anticipates needs before anyone has to ask, checking and refreshing soaps, paper towels, and trash, and following a routine that has the unit glowing and smelling fresh early in the day. She greets everyone with cheer, a big smile, and a positive attitude, and she is always happy to help. She is, in the words of her team, an integral part of the unit at Nashville General.
