Bio
Traci Hicks, CNM, MSN, is a Certified Nurse Midwife with over 30 years of experience in women’s healthcare. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and her Associate of Science from St. Philip’s College.
Traci began her career as a nurse’s assistant and advanced to LPN and RN before becoming a CNM. With two decades as a Labor and Delivery RN, she has cared for women in both hospital and community settings, providing comprehensive prenatal, labor, postpartum, and gynecological care.
Passionate about birth equity and improving maternal outcomes, Traci is especially dedicated to ensuring women of color receive respectful, high-quality care. She is excited to bring her expertise and compassion to Nashville General Hospital, helping expand access to midwifery services across the community.
