Jennifer Owens, MSN, FNP-BC, is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina, where she completed her degree summa cum laude. Her clinical foundation was established at Trident Technical College, where she earned her Associate of Science in Nursing.
Jennifer’s professional experience spans critical care, surgical oncology, and family medicine. She completed over 1,500 patient encounters during her FNP clinical rotation at Shoemaker Family Medicine, where she gained extensive experience in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, interpreting diagnostic studies, and assisting with in-office procedures.
Her nursing background includes serving as an ICU charge nurse at the Medical University of South Carolina, where she supervised multidisciplinary teams and cared for critically ill patients requiring advanced life support. She also has specialized experience managing complex surgical oncology patients and contributing to hospital quality improvement initiatives.
