Jasmine Mitchum, CNM

Bio

Jasmine grew up in Nashville, TN, and went to the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where she studied Nursing. After college, she joined the U.S. Army National Guard and remains as captain in the U.S. Army Reserve. Jasmine has worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse and continued to work part-time while earning her Master’s degree from Vanderbilt University. Her love for women’s health started early when she watched A Baby Story on TLC, and it grew into a passion for helping mothers during one of the most important days of their lives.

Now, as a Certified Nurse Midwife, she’s dedicated to advocating for the birth experiences mothers want. When she’s not busy with work, school, or the military, Jasmine enjoys traveling, playing with her dog Chanel, and spending time with family and friends.
