Bio

Heather Karnes, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years of combined nursing and advanced practice experience in primary care, urgent care, and emergency medicine. Dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care, Heather specializes in preventive health, chronic disease management, acute illness treatment, and overall wellness for patients of all ages.

With extensive clinical experience, Heather is skilled in diagnosing and managing conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and thyroid disorders, as well as providing weight-management counseling and minor clinical procedures.

Heather earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
