Feyisayo Aworunse, OD
Bio
Dr. Feyi Aworunse provides comprehensive, patient-centered eye care with an emphasis on prevention, education, and long-term eye health. She believes every patient deserves to feel informed, heard, and confident in their care.
Her clinical focus spans routine eye exams and medical eye care, with expertise in the non-surgical management of ocular disease including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, autoimmune-related eye conditions, dry eye, and corneal disease.
Dr. Aworunse earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry and completed a residency in Family Practice Optometry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where her training encompassed ocular disease management, community health, comprehensive pediatric and adult eye care, and surgical co-management.
She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and member of the American Public Health Association and has lectured and published on patient-centered care, eye care access in underserved communities, and health equity and literacy promotion.
