Dr. Pooja Kurnala

Bio

Dr. Pooja Kurnala is a licensed podiatrist in Tennessee, board-qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. After completing her medical education, she served as chief foot and ankle surgical resident at Crozer Health near Philadelphia. Dr. Kurnala has published work in the Podiatry Institute's Foot and Ankle Update Series and has extensive experience in diabetic limb salvage and wound care.

Passionate about preventative care, she focuses on educating her patients, particularly those with diabetes. Dr. Kurnala has a background in teaching, having tutored in high school and served as a teaching assistant in both undergraduate and medical school. She believes in partnering with her patients to create customized treatment plans that align with their lifestyles and health goals.
