Dr. Phillip Brooks

Bio

Dr. Phillip Brooks is a board-certified psychiatrist with many years of experience providing mental health care in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Kentucky, where he was a William C. Parker Scholar, and received his medical degree from Meharry Medical College. Dr. Brooks completed his postgraduate training with an Internal Medicine internship at the University of Minnesota, followed by psychiatry residency training at both the University of Minnesota and Meharry Medical College.

Since 2013, Dr. Brooks has been the owner and lead physician of Brooks Medical Enterprises, PLLC. He has also served as both a staff and contracted psychiatrist at Middle Tennessee Mental Health, Trustpoint Hospital, and Rolling Hills Hospital. In these roles, he has provided psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and crisis intervention for a wide range of patients.

Dr. Brooks has received multiple academic honors and remains active in several professional medical organizations. He is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals and families across Tennessee.
