Ashley Nickerson, DO

Bio

Dr. Ashley Nickerson is a board-certified, non-invasive cardiologist who focuses on heart health and advanced heart imaging. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Northeastern University and her medical degree from the University of New England. She completed her internal medicine residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School and her cardiology fellowship at the University of South Florida. She also completed advanced training in cardiac imaging at the University of Kentucky.

Dr. Nickerson specializes in cardiac CT, MRI, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. She became interested in heart care during medical school and continued that passion through her training. Originally from Maine, she has helped start cardiac MRI programs and expand heart imaging services at several medical centers. She also enjoys teaching and is committed to improving patient care and heart health programs.
