Appointed in April 2016, Rose is the first full-time executive director of the Foundation since its inception in 1977. Her most recent position was with Boys & Girls Clubs of America as the National Director of Affinity Markets.
Rose has more than 30 years of progressive experience as an executive-level strategist focusing on women’s philanthropy, multi-channel strategy fundraising, board development and strategic planning. She served as Director of Major Gift Programs and Women’s Philanthropy with the American Red Cross, Director of Development and Marketing at Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art, as well as leadership roles within the Nashville Symphony and United Way of Middle Tennessee.
A seasoned leader, Rose is involved in numerous civic affiliations: National Association of Women MBAs (Board of Directors, Chair of Development Committee), Kappa Alpha Thea Alumnae Association (past President), Junior League of Nashville (past President, Board of Directors), Leadership Nashville (Class of ’92).
A native of Nashville, she graduated magna cum laude from Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia.
