Chief Human Resources Officer

Wohlfahrt joined Nashville General Hospital in 2008. Her accomplishments in this role include revamping the previous Injury On Duty program to a Work Related Injury Program, resulting in significant cost savings to the organization; revising the pension program to a 401(a) for all new hired employees resulting in a significant cost savings to the organization; revised drug policy, which requires all newly hired employees to take a drug screen before being hired; implemented new HR system; updated current civil service rule book and policies; lead union negotiations for the past six years; and conducted internal investigations and mediation for best possible outcomes for employer and employees.

Prior to her role at Nashville General, Wohlfahrt acted as the HR Consultant and Executive Recruitment 2008 at Vanderbilt University. Her responsibilities in that role were directing staff in delivering services including recruitment; training and development programs; compensation and benefits plans; employee relations, and communications to a population of 22,000+ employees. She was also responsible for facilitating the selection process for senior executive level positions.

Wohlfahrt obtained her MBA from Trevecca Nazarene University, Nashville, Tennessee. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Human Relations and Associate’s Degree in Sociology from Columbia State Community College, Columbia, Tennessee.
